About This Project

Close to Home: Art, Nature, History is a collaborative art experience mobilized by visual artists, filmmakers, documentarians, and curators living in the age of the Covid-19 pandemic. Participating artists create works that are exhibited in public outdoor spaces such as hiking trails, historic sites, and conservation areas; and then are documented and published for broader sharing. Our mission is to expand the art viewing experience into socially distanced and unexpected locales often found close to home.
